PRUDENTIAL BSN Takaful (PruBSN) was awarded the Rising Star Takaful Institution 2011 award from the ‘The Asset,’ a Hong Kong-based publishing and research group. The award was presented by The Asset finance editor Chito Santiago to PruBSN chief executive officer Azim Mithani at a luncheon ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.
“This prestigious award comes as we celebrate our fifth year anniversary as an innovative and dynamic Takaful provider in the Malaysian market. We are proud that our efforts have been acknowledged and recognised through this award,” said Azim, adding that the award was the reflection of its employee’s dedication and hard work. “This is their award,” he concluded.
PruBSN is joint venture between Prudential PLC and Bank Simpanan Nasional. The takaful operator is building a strong network backed on a range of innovative and tailor-made products suited to its wide customer base. These products include the PruBSN Ummah, a protection plan which combines the spiritual fulfillment and savings in one and the PruBSN Takaful Health2, a medical rider that offers a medical card and comprehensive coverage for an individual’s health and medical needs.
The Asset Triple A Award 2011: Islamic Finance, is an international award which honours shariah-compliant finance companies throughout the globe in various categories.
